Kelsey Long
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Kelsey is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a Master’s degree of Clinical Exercise Physiology. She completed these studies at Federation University in Ballarat, finishing her postgraduate studies in 2020.
Kelsey has always had a passion for exercise. Growing up being active and playing a lot of netball led her towards her bachelor studies in the science of sport. Throughout this degree Kelsey found her interest in health and exercise rehabilitation which led further to her postgraduate studies in Exercise Physiology.
Kelsey has worked previously as an AEP in private practice in Ocean Grove, as an Allied Health Assistant in a rural hospital in the Ballarat area and as a Personal Trainer/Gym Instructor at Federation University’s Exercise and Aquatics Centre. She enjoys being in the gym environment and guiding clients through their tailored exercise programs.
Kelsey strives to assist her client’s in meeting their goals by developing exercise programs that address their needs holistically. She hopes to empower her client’s by educating them on exercise and the importance of staying active throughout the lifespan. Kelsey can assist you by providing individualised treatment plans that are safe, appropriate and use evidence-based best practice. She will work with you to set your goals and ensure you feel included in the decision making process.
Kelsey enjoys spending time at the family farm in Central Victoria, travelling abroad, playing netball, keeping strong in the gym and beach walks with her Border Collie Teddy. You can usually find her at a live music event or enjoying brunch in the coolest cafes around town.
